Testimonials

"Mike Nigro won a very important and difficult case for our non-profit organization. Mike counseled us through many complicated decisions by clearly explaining our choices, his strategy and recommendations. Once we determined that we could not reasonably resolve the case and we had to litigate, Mike thoroughly prepared our witnesses and presented a logical and persuasive case. He also deftly cross-examined the opposing witnesses to expose the inconsistencies and improbabilities of their testimony. We thank Mike very much for his hard work and conscientious representation."

"Nexgen Building Supply has used Nigro, Westfall & Gryska (NW&G) exclusively as our collection attorney over the past fifteen years. They have helped us strengthen our credit policies and procedures which has made us more efficient in our internal collection efforts. We use NW&G to help negotiate and monitor repayment plans with many of our customers. They have been very successful using their knowledge of the legal system to recover bad debts from uncooperative accounts. We have tremendous confidence in their efforts on behalf of our company."

"Being the Credit Manager for Roland Machinery, a large equipment dealer with 15 branch locations in 5 states, one of my main responsibilities is to collect the money due to our company for the sales of parts, service and equipment rentals and sales. On occasion we are forced to turn to legal counsel for help in collecting some of our customers who either cannot pay or are simply unwilling to pay their accounts. When we run into these situations the legal firm we turn to is Nigro, Westfall & Gryska.

One of the key reasons we chose to do business with them is their industry knowledge. The firm participates as an associate member of the Illinois Equipment Dealers (IED) association and is active in the IED Credit Managers group that meets quarterly. At these meetings Mike Nigro shares important legal information that has made a real difference in protecting our rights and greatly improving our recovery rates. Information he shared on lien rights for rental equipment helped me recover over $65,000 on a case where I most likely would not have made any recovery if I had not known about the lien laws. Plus they work with many of the other local equipment dealers so they know our customer base and the industries we serve.

I have dealt with a lot of attorneys during my 27 years in this industry and what sets this firm apart from all the others is their desire to find the most equitable resolution to the situation in the shortest period of time. A lot of attorneys, we see it with opposing counsel all the time, try to drag out cases as long as possible to maximize their income. In my experience, that is simply not how Nigro, Westfall and Gryska do business. They look at each case and help you make the best possible decisions to resolve the matter it in the most cost effective and timely manner.

One final reason we do business with Nigro, Westfall and Gryska is the people. I have dealt with both Mike Nigro and Mark Gryska and find them both to be genuinely nice people who are interested in not only your business but you personally. It also helps that they can be tough as nails in court when helping to state your case or defend your position. They also have a great staff that is both professional and personable. When you need something done in a hurry to protect your interests, you can rely on them to get it done as quickly and accurately as possible.

While Nigro, Westfall & Gryska was the legal firm Roland Machinery selected long before I came to work for the company, I can tell you I would never even consider using another firm to handle our legal matters."
